1. When performing a "Save Report to File" or "Print" operation in Formatted Reports, the processing speed has been increased to allow for quicker performance. The "View Report on Screen" processing speed was increased in an earlier release.
2. An additional report has been added to the Formatted Reports. "Date of Last Card Used" will display a list of the last time a credential was used at a given site. This will allow an operator to determine if a card has not been used for an extended period of time.
We've released PXL-500 firmware v8.4.49. It corrects one
anti-passback reporting error and one dual-verification error that
affected P-600 readers.
PXL-500/PXL-510 Firmware v8.4.49 contains two fixes:
A bug was introduced into the v8.4.48 firmware release that affected controllers using the P-600
combo reader in dual verification applications, disabling dual verification and granting access
upon entry of the first credential and not requiring the entry of the second credential. This bug has
been fixed so that dual verification is applied properly
An anti-passback error was incorrectly recorded under the following condition:
if anti-passback was enabled on a controller but not for a particular cardholder
and that cardholder presented a card to the reader, but did not open the door before the door
open timer expired
and then that cardholder again presented the card to the reader
an anti-passback violation event was recorded for that cardholder
This has been corrected to completely exclude cardholders from APB processing if APB has not
been applied to that cardholder.

Entraguard Gold/Silver/Titanium Firmware v7.3.17 and Entraguard Platinum Firmware v9.0.3 contain one name display change and a Daylight Saving Time change mandated by the U.S. federal government:
Display name change:
Specific model names have been removed from the menu listing. All EntraGuard units will simply display "EntraGuard".
Daylight Saving Time date change:
Due to the change in US Federal law governing the beginning and ending dates for Daylight Saving Time, the firmware has been changed to reflect the new dates.
Beginning in 2007
Daylight Saving Time will "Spring Forward" on the second Sunday in March.
Daylight Saving
Time will "Fall Back" on the first Sunday in November. To bypass the firmware update, refer to the Daylight Saving Adjustment Application Note (P/N 01980-001).
Keri has switched to a new connector vendor for our PXL and Entraguard controllers. The new connector has a better interlocking mechanism between connector plug and socket, providing a more secure connection.
Keri extensively tested the interconnectivity of the two vendors and found no issues. However if both connectors are at the far end of their tolerances it appears that the mechanical connection between the two vendors can be affected. Because of this, Keri strongly recommends you do not mix the two connector types in an installation.
All PXL and Entraguard controllers are shipped with an installation kit that has all the correct connectors necessary for that controller. If you are replacing an existing controller with a new controller in an installation, please replace the connectors on the existing wiring with the connectors provided with the new controller. This will eliminate the tolerance issue between connector manufacturers and ensure good seating between connector plug and socket.
The Connector Tolerance document provides information on how to distinguish old manufacturer from new manufacturer connectors.
