The P-700 Yukon Proximity Reader is the latest member of Keri's Pyramid Series Proximity line of access control readers, cards, and tags featuring optional HID compatibility.
The P-700 is intended for applications where a longer read range contributes to the convenience of the access system. It is ideal for parking lots, employee entrances, and physically challenged (ADA requirement) access applications. Certain applications can take advantage of the P-700's bi-direction (equal from both sides) read capability.

Provided as an option to the LAN-100 Ethernet converter, the LAN-50 also provides a link between the host computer and the access control network -- at a lower cost than the LAN-100, but with certain limitations. The LAN-50 Ethernet Communication Application Note defines how the LAN-50 is used.

The team here at Keri Systems is pleased to announce the market release of a new OEM proximity reader for access control, the InStar™ Motorola Compatible Proximity Reader, model MCR-403. The MCR-403 is designed to provide compatibility with Motorola's ASP 26-bit Wiegand formatted line of proximity readers, cards, and tags. For the first time Motorola's proximity users will be able to enjoy the benefits of a true second source, including competitive pricing, fast delivery, responsive customer service, lifetime warranties, and state-of-the-art designs. The MCR-403 is now available for order and delivery.

The rumors are true. Keri has reached agreement with HID Corporation allowing the complete line of our Pyramid Series Proximity™ readers to be configured to read HID's proximity cards. HID compatible Pyramid Series Readers are differentiated from standard Pyramid Series readers by labels on the readers indicating the readers include Prox by HID™ technology. A modest per reader license fee surcharge will be required for this enhanced feature.
