Our Vision

By designing cost-effective, easy to install, and easy to use products, Keri Systems has become one of the fastest growing card access control systems manufacturers in the world. The original founder of Indala Corporation (now Motorola/Indala, the early pioneers and market leaders in digital proximity readers and proximity cards) started Keri Systems in 1990. Located in the heart of California’s famed Silicon Valley, the company draws on the area’s wealth of technological expertise and security industry professionals to bring superior price/performance products to the card access control systems market. Keri products are available worldwide through a network of dealers and distributors, and Keri’s core products all carry the CE Mark for approval in European Economic Community member countries.

In the early years, Keri Systems designed and sold stand-alone single door-only card access control systems. Keri now manufactures card access control systems for managing systems from one door at a single location to thousands of doors spread over multiple sites, specializing in proximity technology, but also with the ability to use any Wiegand™ card reader technology.

Our History

Keri’s first venture beyond the stand-alone single door application in 1998 was the PXL-500 Tiger Controller platform with MS Series Proximity Readers, for use exclusively on Keri Controllers, combine superior performance and low cost in small, sleek attractive packages. The system is managed by the critically acclaimed Entraguard Telephone Entry product line acquired from Marlee electronics in the late ’90s.

In 2007, Keri became one of the first suppliers of Ethernet-based access control hardware with its NXT product line, including 2 and 4 Door controllers and NetXtreme software. In 2010, Doors.NET was introduced to manage an NXT-based system, another step up in access control functionality and ease of use. Advanced features such as video integration, alarm management, email and SMS messaging, and more are all available with Doors.NET.

Stepping back a year, in 2006, Keri entered the large scale and Enterprise-class market with the acquisition of Digital Horizon Solutions of Dallas, TX. Their Doors.NET, but with even more features enabled and can meet the requirements of virtually any customer, from commercial/industrial, property management, healthcare, transportation, entertainment, casino gaming, industry, and education, to government and defense.

Keri will continue its pursuit of technological and market leadership with the introduction of more exciting new access control and integrated system products as well as enhancements to existing products.
